I don't know if these would be large enough for a CX-12, but for my standard
sized chromatics [#270, Hering 501/48] I have found eyeglass cases rather
nice. One has a snap closure and the other is the slip-in type, open at
one end. That's one I might recommend you try, Thorsten, for your needs...
Most of these types of cases have a clip on the back for a belt or to hold
securely in a shirt pocket. Also, they are softly padded inside and very
inexpensive... eyeglass shops here in the US will often give them away to
customers in for even minor repairs. But, in general, eyeglass cases come
in a wide range of styles, sizes, and materials... some rather nifty!!
