The new Damark catalog came yesterday. They have a set of 5 "Bandmaster" diatonic harmonicas in the keys of A, C, G, F, and D for $29.99 and shipping is free. The description says "...chrome-plated covers with brass plates and reeds with soft carrying pouches." Does anyone know what they are? The combs look like they are black plastic.
I did search the archives and someone said that they are cheap ($3.95) harmonicas made pre-reunified East Germany, that they have a different tuning, and that the Damark offer is a rip-off. Are all these accusations true?
