Subject: Airtightness fixes, please

I have seen a few custom harp purveyors, and a few list postings
related to gasketing the plates to the harp to increase airtightness.
before i end up inhaling any silicone sealant perhaps I could get a
few recommendations on what with and how to seal them.

"Logic" dictates that a very thin application of a non-solvent based
sealant around the perimeter of the reedplate would work, but perhaps
a paper ring gasket trimmed to fit the comb outline would do as well.

A BR will probably be victim #1, but I have a few wood-combed harps
that I could hack on. My main complaint about the BR is the wheezing
at low volumes/pressures. I want to seal one up and see if it makes
a difference.

Thanks,
Pete
