Actually, this didn't occur all across America. Our band provided pre-game and halftime entertainment at a Superbowl/birthday party at a local bar. I'm happy to report we had the crowd dancing during both sets, thus defeating the Madison Avenue types who expected those folks would be watching commercials. Sorry, Corporate America.
(BTW, I was really blowing my harp, playing guitar and singing. No lip-syncing allowed at the northern end of the Mississippi.)
