David,

The body of the instrument is a hollow cylinder about 18 inches
long and 1 1/3 inches in diameter, with holes drilled in it like a
flute. It has a standard alto sax mouthpiece connected to the body
with a piece of copper tubing about 1/2 inch in diameter bent at
about a 15 degree angle. I will try to find the papers that came
with it; I know I have them, and they have the person's address who
made it. I bought it at a fair one day here in Philadelphia, where the
man had a stall with lots of his instruments. The tonal quality varied
quite a bit between instruments, and I picked out a good one. Going by
mail order would allow less choice in this regard.
