Actually, if you are worried about germs lurking in borrowed harps, I am
told that the risk is greater with one that has just been played (thus
containing fresh saliva), rather than one which has not been played for a
while (although regularly seeing the insides of harps belonging to other
players, somehow three-day-old saliva is even less appealing!).

A friend of mine refuses to share harps since he claims he caught herpes
from someone else's. This may or may not be true, but if nothing else, it
stops people wanting to borrow his harps...!
