I got DEEP PURPLE's lead singer' s Blues Harp key of D for present, which is absolutly incredible :-) Someone got it on Deep Purple's Bristol concert from 21st Feb. 1996 in Colston Hall. That was a very big surprise to me, because i sometime gave some detailed information on the harp ,the singer Ian Gillan use to play (keys, models, tabs ....) on Deep Purple's newsgroup. some here may now their latest fine guitarist Steve moerse, who is also familiar with country music as well as on evry tyoe of music ... Their latest album titled "Purpendicular" shows some nice harp work almost second position, but also some change of harp key in a song (modulation of scale) imo, their latest album is one of the best since their classic one Machine Head, where another fine blues tune is to find with an excellent harpwork : Lazy .
i only like to know what type of harp-models were offerend in 1972 by hohner, which probably can be heard on their classic Machine Head of 1972 ?
thanks for a hint Thorsten
