As a lurking Belgian harp-l friend I would sometimes search for any Belgian-harp related topics on this list. Toots...was all I ever got. But there is more to the Belgian harmonica-scene than the wonderful Jean Thielemans. One of Belgians finest electric bluesbands is called El Fish. And though I've never read about them here, they're certainly worth some bandwith. There's more, their harmonica player (Steven deBruyn) is a member of this list, and he does a very, very good job on both the diatonic and the chromatic harmonica. When I asked Steven about him being on neither Harp-l tape, he assured me that he would send in a song for tape III. For any of you out there who want to hear their West Coast, Swing blues live, I've heared that they'll be on the road next month (Holland, Germany, U.K.) to promote the release of their first album, "Blue Coffee".
