ROTFLMAO!!!!

Stopit! You're killing me. The traditional coffee shot up the nose.

Anyway. All of this reminds me that it really *is* time we put up a harp-l
soundbytes library, where we'd at least be able to make zzzzzhhhhhtwack a
link to a .wav file!

As well as a lucky-dip area, where folk can put up any old stuff, I'd like
to see some more "official", "structured" stuff. Things that we can use
as a frame of reference. So if we want to talk about Madcat's "hup-pah"
stuff, or a Jimmy Reed blowbend sound, or the four notes on hole three
bend, or the zzzzzhhhhhtwack (which I will now always think of as The
Death Sound) ... we can just point at it.

I remember all this stuff being discussed a while back, but for starters
the technology has changed since then, and also I'm too lazy to go look
through the archives!

I don't have the time to really supervise anything, but can give the
server space and accounts on "my" system(s) to get it hosted.

Step up, step up. I know Tom Barker is interested (and has been bugging
me to get it done), and I'm guessing that there's a lot of folk out there
who could at least contribute a phrase or two.

Reply to this thread and keep it on list until we know who all is
involved. I'm going to go and create some web pages to start with.
