Subject: Comb Qs

1) Does anyone manufacture a chromatic comb in metal? I'll have to
wait a while for Doug and Bobbie to get the assembly line going, but
I'd like to try a metal comb with a set of 64 plates. Based on my
experience with Sax mpcs, I'd like to find a comb in pure copper,
with gold plated brass being a close second. But I'd certainly
consider the stainless route, if there was such a thing out there.

2) Has anyone done much experimentation with different shaped comb
channels? Sax and Clarinet players are familiar with the enormous
differences that the shape of a mouthpiece chamber can make to your
sound, and I'd be interested to discover if anyone has experiemted
with chanel shape for this purpose.
