Subject: how deep to bend a chrom ?

a chromplayer showed me that a chrom have also bending notes (drawbendings) but these
bendings can be done lower than on diat. harps.
on his CX12 he showed on hole 1 for example a bend far more under the known Db.
he could do a bend to B=H and said most bending notes can be bend far more than on
diat. harps. i was a bit confused. but the difference afaik is that on diat. harps
both reeds are moving but on chroms only 1 note and the sound of bending notes on
chroms is not as good as on harps ... (question of personal taste ...) but a chord
bend like west coast chromplayer almost do in blues sounds phantastic...

but why is a chrom bend so deep ?

thorsten

ps;i know about overblows/drwas and bendings for diat. very well , but the chroms
physcally no good idea to understand the very special function ...(?)
