Dear John, if you want a chromatic on your X-mas list, then look for a Hohner CX
12 and let the Chromonica III at the flea market where you shouldn't buy a harp
at all.

A CX 12 ex factory had of course to be adjusted to critical demanding, but even
in its original finish a CX has advantages no other chromatic can offer. By
the way, the chromonica of that flea market might look to be in good condition,
but only in case you remove the reed plates and the wooden comb will not fall
apart into parts, you may buy it for comparing purposes with a CX 12.
