"The Act of Beign Free in One Act" is a mix of original, and originally arranged traditional pieces played in a melodic, tonally tasty style. To me, it has a great purity of tone and clarity of presentation that belies the technical complexity of the music. It has an uplifting, primarily acoustic feel to it. It is definitely not Chicago Blues.
Some of the songs: - - Bright Lights, Big City/Let it Roll/Blue Monk, in a medly - - In A Sentimental Mood - - When Johnny Comes Marching Home - - Comin Home Baby - - Old Man River - - Too Late
By the way, I've been told that many of my messages have very long line lengths. My e-mail programs don't display them that way. I'm wondering how many of you have this problem? (Please let me know privately.)
