Y'all,
Next week is the Berks County, PA Jazz Festival. Two items of note for those in the area:
Howard Levy is conducting a Jazz Harmonica Workshop on Friday, March 22, at 11AM at the Penn State University Berks Campus. He may also be playing a gig Thursday, but that assumes that there's not another player named "Howard Kevy."
John Mayall is playing Saturday the 23rd. He has the distinction of being the first blues artist to be featured at the BCJF. I don't have the paper with me so can't provide more details until I get home tonight.
For those interested, the Festival is located in Reading, PA at various venues. Anyone interested in further info, contact me privately and I'll give you what was in our local paper this morning.
