Subject: beginner practice ?

I'm a relative beginner at harmonica and I have a question about
practicing? I'm learning from a book and tape and the question is
should I master each page to perfection before I go to the next or
should I move on before I get to discouraged? I play the stuff okay but
it's certainly not perfect every time all the time.
