Hi Joe and harp-l -- I'm not an expert on Mr. Mischo (don't own the CDs
you mentioned), and I don't know your location, but I've seen him a handful
of times since he plays all over the Twin Cities with his Red Hot Blues
Band. . He's has done some touring of Europe over the last year or so and
he has run some of the local blues jams. Very competent, classic blues
stylist trying to eek out a living. Not quite the showman as say Piazza,
but he's plenty good. Like the Ironman says (rust never sleeps Mike? :-))
), if you like it, that's all that matters.

FWIW, I'm tired of reading Popper slams.. What's the point ? I'm sure
he'll slow down on the next albums, but if someone could check the
Billboard listings for 4, I think they're way up there. Probably the
biggest harp record of all time ? Don't cringe. Overproduced, OK,
Repetitive ? Hmmm. Yeah, but everybody has their favorite licks.
Remember though, there's some definite goodness in that release and that
it's probably more of a positive for harmonica visibility than a negative.
Lighten up.
