They also make some stuff that's great at taking the glass right off the
window. :-)

I have some 3M liquid electrical insulation that besides the standard warnings about being harmful to all fish and wildlife and neighbor's dogs and kids can cause spontaneous heart attacks if one breathes the vapor. Works great on nicks or bare wires in old tube amps.
