Yes it is...but for another $10 or so, you can buy Boss' digital
delay/digital reverb pedal (I think it's called an RV-5). I use the
digital "plate reverb" feature, which sounds a lot like a slapback echo
to me. It also gives you stereo output, so if you have an old
non-channel-switching amp (or a Bassman reissue), you can drive both
channels at the same time. If you can't get it in Manila, you should be
able to mail-order it, and since it's just a pedal, the shipping
shouldn't be serious.
