Hey Renato,
I too am new to the list. I am actually a guitar player who loves the harp and have a strong desire to someday be able to play rack harp and guitar at the same time.

The reason I replied is cause you were asking about getting a mike and I might just have alittle info you can use. Well first let me say that in my years of hooking up with Harp players it always seemed like the Shure 520 green bullet was the standard (and the 4x10 Fender Bassman).
Well I got this great magazine called BLUES REVUE and there is an article with Little Annie Raines and she uses the Astatic mic., something about a "milkier, smooth tone".

Kevins harps had an ad in the mag and he seems to have it all. I've never delt with him though. His # is 1(800)274-2776, Fax (609)298-3100.

If anyone out there can tell me about the Astatic vs the Shure, I'm going to get something soon myself.
