Subject: Wah, wahs

Now that I have been practicing for about 2 years I am ready to expand from the 4 draw bend with tremolo or vibrato, or whatever. My next goal, with your kind assistance is to obtain a good ( not great, I know my limitations ) "wah, wah". I have been working on this awhile and have managed a "whu, whu". Every "Pro" I have seen always takes one song and just goes nuts "wha, wha'ing"
I always really like that. Is this done strickly with cupping of hands and opening? Does the amplification system help a little bit here? I'm still acoustic but as I understand things the amp isn't going to make a "new" sound for you anyhow so I'd better be able to make it myself. Any tips would be appreciated.

Not to ignore the "copyright" issue; my 2 cents are: If all it takes is a polite request for permission then have the courtesy to ask. We shouldn't be that busy or rude. clink....... well, here are my 2 cents back! What could that mean??? 8-)
