Here's a list of questions directed at Winslow or anyJuan else who can answer:
1) In the HIP #4 reviews section you mention a recording by a group including Steve Baker named "Have Mercy", (jug-band type music). Who sells this? The name of a mail order outfit would be helpful. Elderly recordings doesn't carry it and I don't think Columbia House will either (Yuk, Yuk).
2) In the Chord Surfing article at the end of HIP #3: Is the Eb note in the second C7 chord on the chord chart in column 2 a typo? Am Imissing something? Or did Winslow just slip that in there to make HIPsters think?
3) a. Along the amplification thread: I am really a virgin to amplified playing and an adolescent the harp in general but wonder how the finger mikes (advertised in F&R Farrell) or the Barcus Berry mikes (advertised in Kevin's Harps) are? Would these be versatile enough to give both a Chicago and an acoustic sound? Only acoustic? Are they any good at all?
b. Would a Pignose amp be worth buying to begin to get into amplified playing?
4) Is Toots pronounced like "boots", "suits", "lutes" and "fruits" or like "puts" and "foots"?
