April 30 - Lake Como, NJ - This is one of the best harp shows you'll ever go to. It's about 8 hours (at least) of non-stop harpin' down on the Jersey shore. It only costs $15 and 2 cans of food. Go in the afternoon, just for Stringbean Sorenson or go after dinner to listen to Rob Paparaozzi. Or, better yet, find a good chair in the balcony and just hang out all day.   Got My Mojo Working! Muddy and SBWII
I've been surfing YouTube.com and I came across the video of Muddy Waters and Sonny Boy Williamson (Rice Miller) doing Got my Mojo Working.
This is huge, and slow to load on my machine, but it's worth the wait.

  Auburn Mass Guitar Show this Sunday
Watch out for me at the Auburn Guitar Show this Sunday. I've bought a few treasures here. It's in the center of Massachusetts, but not far from the Connecticut border. It's about 3 hours ride for me, but it's well worth the trip. It's about an hour's ride from Boston or less.

Gerald Weber's Book is now 530 pages. Lots of info on tubes and amps and mods and theory and anything at all dealing with amps. Buy it now before he expands it to a 20 volume set.

  Bharath and the Headhunters
In all the times I've travelled through Canada, I've had bad luck finding blues harp. I should have looked in Montreal.

  Del Rey and Steve James
(No harp). I went down to the Turning Point to see Steve James and Del Rey. I took some pictures of the show. I also have a short Video and an MP3 file.

  Del Rey and Steve James
Del Rey and Steve James are coming to The Turning Point in Piermont, NY on Sunday March 12th. The show is at 7 pm which is quite early for blues. Larry and I hung out with Steve at Blues Week about 12 years ago. I'm sure that he doesn't remember us. He drank most of the beer that we brought.
I am going to be there and I hope Larry comes. The poker boys said they'd show up.
It's my Birthday! I hope to see you there!
