Do you collect tube amps or work on them? Do you go to guitar shows and take pictures? Do you know tips and techniques for playing amplified blues harp that you'd like to share.
I need bloggers who are willing to post to harpamps.com a few times a month on Tube Amp related subjects (not spam). Your posts will reach 20,000 readers each month. Let me know if you are interested.
Thanks, Keith

  Sonny, Jr. with Carlos Colina
I went to Pete's Saloon in Elmsford, NY last night to see my brother's band, Carlos Colina and the straight up Blues Band. Carlos had a few guests including Sonny Jr, the amp maker. I managed to record this video clip on my cheapo Eujoy recorder. There are two clips, one is 20meg and the other is 10meg. They are the same the 20meg has more detail.

Carlos Colina and Straight up with Sonny Jr. 20 meg
Carlos Colina and Straight up with Sonny Jr. 10 meg

Sonny plays some incrediable 2nd and 1st position stuff and Carlos plays some cool 3rd position. Leo Jordon brings down the house with his guitar solo. My brother. Larry, does a great job on Bass

Boy, that's good...

I'll second that...It's hours and hours of dedication...practice...hard work along with talent that was there...and talent that has been refined and refined some more. Good stuff Sonny. gh

WOOOOW... I thought Lester Butler was good, but man...this guy is might be the best I've heard ever. Was he playing on only one harp in this video? Those highs and lows.. incredible. I'll just keep practicing.
